Greetings All,
My name is Gina Wusstig and I am honored to be a 3rd grade teacher here at AsTumbo Elementary School. This is my third year at ATES and my 25th year teaching with the Guam Department of Education. I have previously taught at Agana Heights, Finegayan, Daniel L. Perez, and Maria Ulloa Elementary Schools. The grade levels I have taught are 3rd, 4th, and 5th. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of Oregon in 1993, my teacher certification from the University of Guam in 1996, and my Master's Degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2003.
Four summers ago, I had the opportunity to teach summer school here at AsTumbo Elementary. I absolutely loved the positive climate of the school and the children that I taught. At that point, I told myself I would love to teach at AsTumbo. I am so fortunate that the opportunity came my way and here I am - an AsTumbo butterfly! Our school is truly a family and we all work together in order to provide a safe, nurturing, and academically challenging environment for our students.
I am excited to spend the year with my 3rd graders - working hard, learning, growing, and having fun.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Wusstig
